Welcome to the official ATBJunkies International Mountainboard Film Festival website
ATBJunkies’ International Mountainboard Film Festival is an exciting annual event that takes place in the Autumn, presenting a unique programme of short films made by mountainboarders of all ages accompanied by a weekend full of mountainboarding.
We are delighted to announce your biggest challenge for 2016. This year the International Mountainboard Film Festival is laying down the gauntlet to all film makers out there. Your film/s will fall into one of two categories both with the aim of promoting mountainboarding as world wide sport.

60 Second Rush – Film Competition
Create a fast peace, entertaining, informative film about any board sport. Take us on a adrenaline heart pumping rush. You are required to add a mini voice over or filmed interview.
Rules for 60 Second Rush
- Your films must be maximum 60 seconds long. It should be an entire story that has to been encompassed in the full 60 seconds. You can film your mini epic on any kit you like.
- Films must be uploaded to FilmFreeway.com to qualify. On qualifying we’ll send you a “Download request” for us to download your film and show it at our film festival event. All films must be shown at our event to qualify for awards & prizes.
- If required your film can be delivered as a DivX, Mpg 4, H.264 file, we’ll contact you after viewing you submission. Please supply accurate contact info and support material on your FilmFreeway project pages.
- Submit your films and info has early as possible via filmfreeway.com, so we can promote them to be shown at the film festival.
- By submitting a film, you confirm you have the rights to the material in your film, and have obtained any and all necessary permissions and release forms required. By entering, you also grant us permission to show your film at other events and venues in the future.
- We are not looking for teasers, trailers or parts of larger films. Nor are we looking for jumbled up random images to music. There must structure and meaning to the timeline in your film.
Go Big or Go Home – Film Competition
Create a 6 – 10 minute documentary style film about mountainboarding, a individual rider, group or team freeriding, or a riders ambition for competition glory in your country. Your aim is to capture the passion and spirit of mountainboarding.
Rules for Go Big or Go Home
- Your films can be a maximum 10 minutes long. It should be an entire story that encompassed the passion and spirit of mountainboarding in a documentary style film in 6 – 10 minutes. You can film your mini epic on any kit you like.
